GENERAL MANAGER: AARON LAFFERTY
I came to Kasala nearly two years ago after closing a successful catering business. I studied culinary in Bologna, Italy, with one of Italy's top chefs and worked in some of Seattle's most prestigious restaurants. I heard about Kasala through a friend who is a longtime customer. I have a degree in apparel design and made custom bridal gowns for 15 years. I have always loved art and design; even in my cooking career, the presentation was a driving factor in the development of a dish. I also love to sing and have performed in many of Seattle's jazz clubs. I love Kasala because it's small and local. It feels like a family, a family with really lovely chairs.
